LAND X Upside Space
Presented by The Upside Space
LAND curated In the Wall, a Window for The Upside Space, a curator-led digital art platform that brings together contemporary artistic practices from South Asia, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East.
The exhibition emerged from an inquiry into the window as both a material and metaphorical interface—where the worlds within and outside continually meet, touch, and reshape one another.
The curatorial process asked how digital space might become an extension of this threshold. Rather than simply translating artworks into an online format, the exhibition explored how digital interfaces could create new relationships between artwork, viewer, and space. The digital became a window that allowed the outside to seep in and the inside to peek out, inviting audiences into moments where memory, identity, dreams, and lived realities intersect.
Through digital curation, LAND reimagined the exhibition as an immersive encounter—one that transformed the screen from a site of viewing into a poetic space of passage, where contemporary artworks continued to unfold beyond their physical boundaries and where the experience of looking became an act of inhabiting multiple worlds at once.
