The program approaches Jodhpur as a living knowledge site, an evolving archive where ecology, folklore, water systems, crafts, architecture, memory, and everyday life become interconnected ways of knowing. The programme asks how education might emerge from a deeper engagement with the landscapes and communities that shape us, positioning the city not as a backdrop to learning, but as an educator in its own right.

Its interconnected pillars include a Teaching Assistant Fellowship with university learners, a Creative Learning Programme across five schools in the walled city, Community Projects, University Seminars, and SEED, an early years initiative for children aged four to six. Guided by the framework of Wonder, Research, and Action, learners investigate the cultural and ecological narratives embedded within their surroundings.

At its heart, we are developing a methodology of learning from place, where research becomes relationship, observation becomes inquiry, and knowledge is collectively created. Through public installations and exhibitions, these learning journeys return to the city, contributing to a shared and evolving culture of learning.
