Museum as Classroom was a learning programme curated by LAND at Sanskriti Kendra that invited government school students from Delhi to reconsider the museum not as a repository of objects, but as a living pedagogical space. Through sustained engagement over six months, participants explored the terracotta collection as an entry point into histories, geographies, ecologies, sciences, philosophies, and material cultures. By tracing the biographies of objects, learners encountered knowledge as interconnected rather than disciplinary. The programme nurtured curiosity, observation, and critical inquiry, culminating in the creation of a collective knowledge graph that mapped relationships across diverse fields, demonstrating how museums can become spaces for dialogue, imagination, and holistic learning.
